Hello, brand new to the site so here goes. Enjoy long walks on the beach, holding... no wait wrong site. I've recently bought a very large trailer that requires a very substantial tow vehicle.
My basic camper specs are a 5th wheel toy hauler with a max tongue weight of around 4K lbs and a gross trailer weight of 20K. I live in NY and this is what I'm looking for: 3500 Dually, Cummins HO,
MAX TOW pkg, crew cab, 4X4 are pretty much the necessities, anything else will be considered based on price and usefulness. I'm an engineer by trade/mind and thus drill into models (tradesman, big horn. laramie etc)
pretty deep to see what makes the most sense to get the cheapest and yet get what I want. I found a truck, went to the dealer to get a price, note: I work for a company that I get FCA affiliate awards (1% below invoice) and I'm good with that, I state that and then they come back with a $5K add on top of MSRP, WTF??? Is that even legal? Whatever, more fish in the sea/dealerships that hopefully won't do that (given the current status of new vehicles).
So today I find a 2022 enroute to a dealership with everything I want AND it's a tradesman BUT has a 12" radio/display which I love that 2021 you couldn't get, so I go to the RAMTRUCK website and no 2022 info, ughhh...
Sorry for ranting, just frustrated as I'm sure many many people are.

Welcome to HDRams!

You can build/price on costco.com or http://showroom.carbook.com/showroom/AdditionalDetailsAction.do?styleId=423588&modelId=34551

Some options on poverty trims lower than Longhorn/Limited are not currently available for order or were restricted when the 21's and 22's were built (Blind spot monitoring, etc.) Currently many options like BSM, power fold mirrors and Night Edition are restricted on poverty trims.

Dealers everywhere are adding over MSRP charges.

If you can wait, perhaps up to 6 months, order a truck.
