Service 4 Wheel Drive message

Recently I started seeing the message pop up on my cluster and go away. It just pops up for a few seconds and from what I can tell it only happens when turning and accelerating at the same time, from a standstill. I have only seen it four or five times That I know of.

I tried doing a search but apparently I am not good that doing that because nothing came up.

Is it service 4wd or 4wd shift in progress? I’ll get shift in progress blip onto the screen occasionally when hitting a bump, a quick shift or 2 in and out of 4 on a straight section of road cures it for a bit.

It is Service 4wd message. It just pops up and goes away.

May be the shift mechanism on the axle, they have been known to go bad.

How’s your battery?
Have you checked your fuses to see if they’re fully seated?

Battery is good but no I haven’t checked the fuses. I will do that tonight
