I've got my Thuren lift and 37's going on this Friday on my 2020 Ram 2500 Night Edition. The stock wheels and tires have less than 600 miles on them. The tires alone at discount tire (new) are $330 I believe. Has anyone sold their factory take offs? I was wondering what was a fair asking price.

Thanks!

The tires aren't worth anything. I called Discount Tire to see if they would buy my Firestone tires for credit towards new tires. I don't even have the truck yet. The guy said you won't like the price. Your black wheels may sell though .

I got 500$ for mine they had 1/2 tread on the rears no rims though

Checking Craigslist, Nextdoor, etc... around here there are a few sets listed in the ~$1500 range, but they've been listed for quite a while, so once I get around to my lift and replacing my stockers, I am hoping to recoup enough to cover a couple of the new tires, but not expecting much.

I was thinking about asking $1000 for everything but might end up just keeping em in my garage in case I ever get rid of the lift I guess haha. I’ll list them this weekend and report back with any bites.

There’s no way I’d let them go with wheels for less than $1500 if they’re 20s

I see the black 20s with tires listed often for around a grand. I was going to shoot for $600 for my 4kmi 18s but will probably be keeping them JIC I get sick of worrying about my CP4 exploding.

I put up my tradesman 18s with rubber that had 1000 miles on them for $800...crickets. I’m also going to hold on to them in case I get a wild hair and trade in my truck again.

$1000 for new 20” wheels and new 33” tires is appalling. That’s less than you’d pay for a replacement wheel and tire at the dealer. It would be a little more work but I’ll bet selling one tire/wheel at a time might be more profitable because you’ll find the guy that curbed one of his and doesn’t want to dish out money for a whole new set.

Night edition 20" with tires are listed at $2000 to $2500 on eBay. Not sure what they are actually selling for. The tire dealer told me I could get over $2K. Maybe I will offer them to him for $1500 and let him sell them.

Not a bad idea if he's willing to go for it. Selling stuff online sucks...too many people waste your time...
Haven't tried the Ram forums yet, but I assume they're like all the others. Anyone have good luck selling there wheels/tires on here? I'd like to get something for mine rather than having them take up space. I sold a set of 18" aluminum Tundra wheels and decent stock size tires with 50% tread for $800 3 years ago on CraigsList pretty quickly, but never had any luck with domestic wheels

I have a 2012 2500 CC 4x4 and it's about time for a new set of tires. I was trying to hold off until my 2021 3500 hit the dealership but I don't think I'll be able to wait. Depending where you're located, I may interested.

Im in Dallas. My lift and new tires should be on mid next week. Trucks should have about 700 or so miles on it by then. I am going to list them for $1800 and take $1500. If you want them for $1500, just lemme know. Cali is a long way away to ship though haha. Not sure what that would cost. I have a good buddy that owns a printing/shipping company here. I could get a quote tomorrow if you are really interested. Thanks!

It's perfectly OK to discuss general topics of take offs in the forums, but please take the selling to the buy/sell/trade forum or through PM's.

Thanks.

Roger that, didn't even think about it. My mistake.

Just FYI. I am north of Dallas (Frisco, Tx) and sold my stock Night Edition wheels/tires with no sensors (switched them into my new tires) for $1100 this morning. I just listed them online Saturday. Probably could have held out for a little more but needed to clear them out of the garage.

i have a set of almost new take off Power wagon tires and wheels with sensors and I advertised them for $1300 and have only gotten low ball offers and offers to trade for 20" wheels..
