Good afternoon all. I have been. Wondering about sea foam and how useful it really is as far as cleaning injectors, possibly putting it into your fuel and or oil.

Are there any benefits to it from a desired perspective?

What are the Pros and Cons if any?

I thought I’d come to those that have been in the devil game for a hot minute. Thank you all for taking the time to check this out and replying.

Any vehicle that I've needed the injectors cleaned, I've pulled them off and cleaned them. Replaced o-rings and whatnot while I was in there.

The only thing I've ever used Seafoam on was quick change oil on older motorcycles I just bought, until the price went up then I started using ATF fluid. All the other uses they claim for it I just do the right way.

I'd check out several videos on this topic on YouTube.

Good early Sunday morning. Thanks for the comment.

I have looked on YouTube however, I wanted to hear from Ram diesel owners that use it, have used it in real time.

Sea foam is junk do not use it diesel is already a cleaner so cleaning a diesel injector is not worth the time but if you really want to do something for them dump a bottle of lucas injector cleaner in every 100,000 miles

Wouldn’t put it in a diesel..no way. Used it in outboards and small engines to clean carbon out.

I personally would not use SeaFoam in anything. I used it in a motorcycle once to winterize the fuel and when it wouldnt start the next spring, I pulled the carb off and it was coated with a thick clear film. The film clogged every hole in it. Coated the float and bowl............everywhere. The kicker is I drained the carb of all fuel. This was residue after I ran it with the add in the gas.
