I'm installing a 2 camera BlackVue DashCam and have a question about running the rear camera. I usually run wire for rear camera near upper pillar, above doors and back to rear camera. However, I've heard to be careful to stay clear of the upper side airbags which make perfect sense. So my question - with no sunroof how can I run the wire directly back in the middle of the roof? Can I pull the liner down slightly by removing sunshade and pulling on liner slightly? Never removed liner so not sure how this thing is attached. I've got fish-wire (both wire and flex plastic).

TIA

its been a while since I removed the liner, but ya, unscrew the visor, grab rail, coat hanger etc and you will be able to pull down the liner. if you dont remove all the fasteners, be careful not to pull down too hard on it or you could put a crack in the foam liner.

Out of curiosity, what made you choose a ram and not another super duty?

I ran mine above the doors as you mentioned. Just kept the wire inboard of the airbags.
