I have some damage to the vapor tubes running along the top of my fuel tank (2019 2500 Crew Cab 4x4; 6.4l Hemi). Dealership says it is "rodent damage" and wants $2,400 to replace the tank. Hoping there is a fix that doesn't require replacing the tank. Inspection revealed no damage to the tank itself, just the 1/4" tubes (approx size) that run along the top.
Is it possible to replace the tubes, seal them up with heat shrink tubing, or something?
Thank you for your responses,
