Ring End Gaps? Bored Over .020"

2011 Ram 2500 ST 4x4 8ft Bed 5.7 Hemi
Had the Typical Lifter/Cam Failure.

Block Bored Over .020.
SILV-O-LITE 3257HCA Hypereutectic Pistons .020"
Hastings 2M5141020 / .020" Rings
For Street/Towing. No Turbo/Nos.

What are Good Ring End Gaps for Compression Rings 1/2 & 3 Oil Rings?
I know too Tight is Not good & Too lose is Not good. Top Ring Gaps are Smaller from 2nd Intermediate Rings?

Factory Standard Specs...
1st/Upper .015"-.021"
2nd/Intermediate .009-.020"
3rd/Oil Rings .005"-.025"

Hastings Specs...
1st/Upper .020"-.030"
2nd/Intermediate .018"-.028"
3rd/Oil Rings .015"-.055"

Hastings Rings out of Box as they Are...
1st/Upper .016-.018"
2nd/Intermediate .014"
3rd/Oil Rings .020"
 
Since you have Hastings rings, I'd shoot for center of their specs.
Can't use factory because you don't know if the ring material is the same.
There is a reason they provide specs with their rings
 
I understand. There was no ring gap specs with the rings in box. Had to reach out to them. That's the #s they gave. I question responses sometimes cuz U don't know JoSchmo working there knows what they're talking about. Was looking to get insight from ppl that know their motor builds & have possibly gone through my exact situation. Thnx for the response.

Only question I have is 1st & 2nd Ring Gaps vary from each other & if so which 1 is Larger/Smalle? I've read Nowadays, They recommend 2nd Ring Larger gap than 1st...? To divert Ring flutter to Top Ring Etc.?
 
Been a while since I've rebuilt an engine. But every ring pack I've bought had the specs on the sheet in the box.

From what I remember, top ring was always a bigger gap. Remember all of the heat from the combustion chamber will affect the expansion of the top ring more than the second ring.
