Retrofit Center Console?

Is it possible to retrofit a center console into a ‘19 Power Wagon? Am I able to delete the manual transfer case lever and get the combo locker/transfer case buttons like the newer power wagons?

Possible? Probably. But not without big expenses, like swapping the transfer case. In this case, I’d say if you really want it, buy a newer truck that has it.

Otherwise, you may be able to install the full center console with the floor shifter in place, with modification (not sure if anyone has done it on the 4.5’s, but it’s been done on the gen 4 interior by cutting the side of the center console and bending/modifying the shift lever)

Like @el_barto said it would be a lot of work. Best case scenario you find an electric shift case truck in a junkyard and you score the case, wiring harnesses and dash buttons and interior bits off of that truck. Then you do the labor of swapping it all in. Then you fire up alphaOBD and make all the changes in there to make it work.

If you have a power wagon with a manual shift case and a bench seat then you’re already winning. That’s how a truck should be, IMHO

I have a 22PW with the electric shift transfer case and full console but wanted the manual shift. I looked into swapping it over and it can be done but just isn’t worth it both time and money wise. The full console is nice for storage but I just feel the PW should have a floor shifter and center seat. IMHO Ram should have never made the electric shift t-case an option on the PW at all even when they started it with the 75th anniversary trucks. Seems like most dealers option the electric shift now and I believe for 24 to get the winch you have to get the option group with electric shift. Might be a typo though, the build and price site is always screwed up somehow.

The winch is part of the core PW equipment group.

It should be but if you look on the build and price site “front electric winch” is in the list of items for level 1 equipment group. It might be an error but who knows with that garbage website. I just checked and I don’t see it listed in the level 2 list and if you option level 1 it lets you keep the floor shift and center seat but a few months ago it would automatically select electronic shift on the fly transfer case with level 1. Also, level 2 used to list the winch. As of now if you don’t select the level 1 group the picture doesn’t show the winch on the truck.

Yeah it appaers to still be part of the Tradesman "Power Wagon" package; but for the "Power Wagon" trim it looks like you have to get at least the "Level 1" package now.

Yeah I don't know, but it very specifically calls the winch out as part of the PW Package in that text you pasted.

Where is it called out as a line item accessory other than under the umbrella of the PW Package? Looks like the Level 1 Equipment Group specifically excludes it other than on PW to me.

ETA: I think the issue is them blurring the lines between Rebel and Power Wagon.

"Power Wagon Package" irrespective of trim levels (Tradesman or Power Wagon) calls out a winch.

It looks to me like to get a winch on a Rebel you have to buy the Level 1 Equipment Group

ETA@: I just went and built one and you are correct that you have to add that equipment package before the winch shows up in text or the "build image"

“Power Wagon Package” is the Tradesman Power Wagon

Power Wagon, the trim level, no longer has the winch. Note that it is listed as “P” for “Package” (Level 1 package)

(“O” is “Standalone Option”, “•” is “standard”) The winch is a standalone option on gas Rebels.
