Replace Halogen bulbs with LED bulbs

Hello,
I'm wondering if I replace all my halogen bulbs with LED bulbs on my 21 2500 Tradesman, will I get error messages from canbus? Do I need to enable led settings in AlfaOBD.

You can buy LED bulbs that are canbus “safe” and won’t give an error message, just don’t go cheap… I had a set of “cheap” ones in my 2019 1500 and as soon as the temperature dropped below freezing they wouldn’t come on and would cause a lamp out warning, I would have to shut off the truck and restart it a couple times after it was warmed up to get them to stay on… not good when you drive in the dark both to and from work.

If you want LED lights then buy and install proper LED housings. Read the below article for the reasons why.
