Removing outer wheel/tire to load 3500 on trailer

I am looking at purchasing a new trailer and I am trying to think of every possible scenario with the trucks, equipment, etc. Hypothetically, can I pull the outer wheel and tire off of my 22 3500 longhorn to load onto a fender equipment trailer? I don't see why not but I would like to see what everyone's opinion is as well. It would only be to get the truck to service if anything would happen to it. Max distance to be towed would be about 50 miles. I understand that the deck over trailer would be able to handle it without issue, but I am leaning towards a gooseneck fender trailer with a split tilt deck. Thanks in advance for your input.

When I haul dually trucks on a fender type trailer, I just pull the duals up to the fenders and call it a day. Depending on the truck, sometimes have to pull front hub caps off but never had one that the front hubs wouldn't go between the fenders.

But yeah, pulling the outside duals off wouldn't hurt anything, just more work. It's been done plenty.
