I am a FT RVer that pulls a 5er. I have replaced my tailgate with one designed for pulling a 5er.
That being said, now I have a “spare” digital camera that I would like to move to the third brake light and use it as a cargo compartment camera.
To do this, I need a cable to run from the Fakra connector under the bed up into the cab and then up to the brake light.
What I don’t know is what type of coax should I use to build the harness. I was thinking of using RG175 cable. Any ideas?

I would be very interested to see your progression on this. Idea has passed through my head as well.

I can have a 15ft cable with the correct Fakra connectors for about $20.
My plan is to modify (Drill a hole and replace bulbs with LEDs) my existing third brake light lens to accept the camera.
