Relocate rear parking sensors from valence into bumper?

Has anyone relocated the rear parking sensors on their 4.5gen from the plastic valence up into the actual bumper steel like the 4th gens had?
Ideally I’d like to get a heavy duty steel rear bumper like the Warn Ascent or AEV, but looking at other less expensive options for adding some departures angle/not worrying about the sensors getting ripped off.

I have not done it, but have thought about it many times. Seems easy and straight forward.

Ultimately, I know I'm going with the AEV rear, for it's more accessible recovery points, so relocating the sensors is low on my list. The AEV bumper is never in-stock though so maybe I'll tackle it this weekend since all the forests are closed and I'm stuck inside.
