Didn't feel like working through lunch so figured I get this up as there were a few requests. Lots of these things came off of a 100 series Landcruiser I sold last April. I wont be going into a ton of detail. The diagram is pretty self explanatory. I will answer any questions the best I can.

Parts Used
- Redarc BCDC 1225, other misc parts from them
- Optima DH7
- Renogy Solar Panel, other misc parts from them
- Goal Zero Nomad
- Wire and other items obtained from Amazon
- NH Overland 2nd Battery Tray
- Others I have forgotten about

Here is the design I came up with. I had made this prior to starting the build. This is actually what is installed minus the SAE, waiting for that connector and I think I will mount it in the bumper. Because I live in Colorado this setup allows me to remove the solar, ARB, and roof top tent in the winter when not in use.

Some BCDC close ups. NH Overland tray seems really good. Only concerns is heat in summer and the BCDC. BCDC does have a thermal cutoff. I think 174F. Maybe a 12volt fan on the back of the mount and holes drilled to allow airflow might be needed.

Solar routing and panel on tent. I will be building a new ladder mount likely for inside the bed so that it does not block the solar panel. Previous install on Landcruiser did not impact charging. MC4 connectors are under the panel. When not in use they are tucked behind the tire in the bed. Looking at this picture guess I need to tie the wires down better so they can not be snagged on branches, etc.

Can you post more photos of that rack that fits over the rambox.

Rack is from Dethloff, took 6 months to get which was a bummer. But worth the wait. In terms of quality it's very solid and great quality. Reason's I like it.... Works with Rambox and not an Erector Set style rack. Powder coat appears to be the same that AEV uses and tubing is that same size. I can confirm that AEV touch-up paint is perfect match for the rack if you get a scratch. I know based on a shipping scuff. Also if running a 37 with AEV carrier anything on the cross bars will clear. Some pics as requested.

Sweet. Thanks. Looks like a sweet setup. Is everything automagic or do you need to turn things off and back on?

Nice setup man and thanks for the diagram. I'm sure it will help people out. Is that the Roofnest Falcon? I've been looking at that one for a year or so now. I've got soft shell RTT, but I'd like to replace it with a clam shell so my kid and set things up easier by him self. Also, what part of CO are in in? I'm in the Peyton area and my PW should be built in either Feb or Mar.

It is a Roofnest Falcon, the XL. Has been a great tent and I would recommend it if someone was to ask. Nice and roomy and it fits great on full size trucks. Channel system on the side it is great for adding things. I am located in Conifer. If you are ever up in the Denver area let me know and if I got time I'll scoot down the hill. You can take look at anything I've done on the truck for ideas or to get a hands on experience with a Falcon.

Thanks, I'm always down to checkout people's builds. Once I get my truck I'll hit you up.

My RTT lives on top of my OGT Expedition 2.0 trailer and size wise their new Falcon Pro would fit the best. The one thing I did not like about the Falcon was that the ladder was not stored inside the tent. They changed that on the Pro.

I was just looking around recently on the YouTubes and saw that there is a ton of space behind the back seats. Has anyone thought of mounting a Redarc system behind the backseats and hiding the an Aux battery inside the floor storage boxes?

I know the floor storage isn't big enough to hold a 100Ah lithium battery, but there is potential.
