Rear view Mirror cam with problems

Has it happened to anyone that the rearview mirror starts flashing because it does not recognize the third brake light camera? Both are from ram 2500 2023-24, but however they seem to have a lack of compatibility

Is this factory equipped, or did you add the digital mirror and camera?
If you added them to the truck, did you install the digital mirror camera processing module, or are you plugging the camera directly into the mirror?

No. I just added it. Remove and replace. I just put each one in its place and connected the camera. Does the mirror have a connection module? Is that why it flashes giving an error that it does not recognize the camera?

You need the camera processing module (68508050AD) that goes under the driver seat. The mirror and camera will plug into that.

From what I understand, you cannot connect one directly to the other. The rear light cable must be sent to the processor under the seat and this in turn sends another cable to the mirror. Does the processing module have any additional electrical wiring or are we just talking about a connection cable for the camera?
