Rear Lights

Alright guys, I had some Black Friday/Cyber Monday goodies arrive and looking for some tips or ideas I haven’t yet thought of. What I’m currently thinking is mounting the white lights on the outside edge facing outboard and angled down and the amber facing rearward. The way I would mount them: drill holes and install nutserts, then screw in lights.

Just my opinion, I wouldn't put the white lights on the bed rail like that. If you're trying to light up the area on the sides you'd want them up higher. I had a similar issue on my SXS and ended up moving my side lights up higher for more coverage. Maybe consider a headache rack or something similar?

Also, I have used that same brand of Auxbeam in the past and they are great! Super bright and not nearly as pricey as some other brands.

Are you using the Amber light as a chase/dust light? A bit higher up is nice but most people mount it to the bed. SDHQ makes a mount to attach one to the bed rail.

Visibility. I was doing some trail riding/rock crawling recently and the trails are separate from the gravel roads to get to and from. With the amount of vehicle traffic the dust was insane and people speeding I was almost rear ended a few times. Amber cuts through dust better than white light so I’ll be more visible from the rear.

Definitely needed when running dusty desert trails. Day and night.
