Hi everyone, first post here. I have a 2022 2500 6.7 and have a question about the rear fuel filter. When tightening the cap, is the drain plug supposed to face towards the front of the truck? Every installation video I see, thats where their drain plug ends up. But I cant seem to get mine facing the front. If I try turning it more, it feels like I would over tighten it. When I took it off, the drain plug was facing the front. The best I could do is perpendicular. No visible leaks when the engine is running. Am I worrying about nothing? Thanks

Mine doesn't face the front. Points at a 45 deg angle to front passenger side. Did you lube the O-ring with some diesel before installing the cap back on? Dry o-ring could make a diff.

Lub the O-Ring but when it stops moving stop it will only go so far i think mine is to the front every time though you can feel it when it stops turning it bottoms out
