So I recently got a mild tune for my truck from the Great guys over at valley center. I had them increase my power numbers to that of a stock 2019HO, and they took care of a couple CELs that popped up when a few things like my throttle body mysteriously came unplugged.

Anyway, I don't drive the truck much, I try to save the miles for actual truck stuff and not just daily driving. When I have driven the truck I'm very gentle since the tune because I'm terrified of smoking the 68rfe, but I had a buddy with me the other day and decided to put it to the floor from a stop. It did alright, but did some weird stuff at the top of 3rd the rpms kinda bounced a bit before it shifted into 4th.

Anyway, I think it's safe to say a valve body should be done since I do run 37's in the summer, and I do two a 9500lb travel trailer a few times a year.

Valley recommends and tunes Randy's valve bodies, so that's the way I'm going. However I'm looking for input on the tune required baby maker 2000 vs the non tuneable plan B. I'm really nervous about modding the transmission cause I had a really bad experience with level 10 transmissions back in the day with my old subaru.

I want to go with the solution that's going to be the most consistent and reliable, for what I use my truck for.
