I've had this random vibration in my truck between 55-65 since the day it was new. It's not always there and sometimes worse then other times. I have had multiple sets of tires and different wheels on it and it does the exact same thing no matter whats on there, so I know it is not wheel and tire related. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes. Comes and goes. Memtioned it a couple times but they have never been able to replicate. Same here... have had different wheel and tire setups.

I had the same vibration on my '20 3500 DRW 4x4. It was extremely aggravating to travel even short highway distances with the vibration. Several people here have speculated that it's a driveshaft issue.

Finally got mine livable by switching to Michelins Primacy XC and having all 6 wheels Road Force balanced.

Have had road force balance.

I do not know if i have a carrier bearing under there. I will have to look next time im on my back.

i know my 19 CCLB has one and from my past dealing with them when the bearing goes out im putting in an 5” aluminum one piece shaft

Depending on how aggressive tread is it does make a difference but it is still there at the exact same speed. I replaced the ball joints, track bar and upgraded the steering stabilizer and there was no change.

I had that same problem with my new 2016 2500 CC. We Road Forced balance all 4 tires and even replace the tires with a different brand. It continued for 7,000 miles and than while I was rotating the tires I noticed the outside edges of the front tires were wearing. I got under there and adjusted the toe in part of the alignment out (I used to be a front end alignment specialist) and my vibration was gone. Have them check the front end alignment and get print outs so you know they did it or take it somewhere you trust and have it checked.

I run an automotive business and have tried aligning it so many different ways. I am more than certain that this is not a tire/alignment issue. I've checked everything I can think of and I am stumped. Been doing this for 20 years and this is the first time I have not been able to figure something out lol.

I've had a vibration and a noise that you can feel in the steering wheel since it was brand new, it has 14k miles on it. This is my 3rd Dodge Diesel that I've purchased brand new. I have owned & operated my own Transmission and Driveline Shop for the last 35 yrs now and have been actively Building Transmissions for everything from stock to all out High Performance to go behind Blower Motors. We mounted what they call " Wireless Chassis Ears " onto my truck searching for the source of this noise & vibration. I have it pinned down to It's the Power Steering causing it BUT I don't have the fix for it yet. I have never seen, Felt or Heard a noise like this in my 40 yrs of working on vehicles for a living. I'm Hoping by sharing this information with this group that we are able to get down to a fix for this annoying problem.

Yes i have the same issue but starts at about 70-72MPH. Maybe it is present slower but I wouldn't know it because I've had it a week and have just over 200 miles on it, all interstate. It really pisses my off. My 2014 2500 Cummins was "oh my god" smooth till I put new tires on it and the dealers garage monkey couldn't balance a set of tires. After 4 attempts the story turned to "that's how those HD trucks drive". Like I didn't put the 60K miles on it. Well no more business from me, off to Fleet Farm and tada, no vibration and smooth again. Both places had road force machine so ya operator error. I traded that for a 2018 Mega dually Cummins. That had a pretty irritating but short lived vibration. A rebalance under warranty at a different dealer and competent mechanic reduced it quite a bit. Running in alternate tow height (air bags) and dropping a few pounds in the tires to eliminate the pavement seam bounce finished it off. So here I go again new truck and another vibration issue. I should be finishing up on my punch list this week then back to the dealer it goes so they can clean up the assembly line slop. I hope it is just a balance but not holding my breath. All of hubbub about new cab mounts, isolated vibration and acoustic dampening etc etc. really? not impressed. This one was built to nearly identical specs as my 18 and I expected much better. Actually it is no better maybe worse at delivery than my 18 was.

I installed a Synergy tie rod and drag link. Most of the vibration is gone now. You really have to try to find it now.

I’ve owned a couple of vw products that has a vibration at certain speeds. Ended up being drive axles out of balance/out of round each time. A visual inspection didn’t show anything, replacing them fixed the issue though. If you have the time and budget to swap axles, you could try that. Otherwise I would suspect something in the suspension isn’t happy at those speeds/driving conditions
