I have had multiple trucks with RAMBOX as an option. This 22' has the worst "twist" I have even seen. I do believe this to be a manufacturing defect as the passenger side does not have it. The adjustments are all the way in and you can get it to lay flat if you push down on it. @RamCares Do I start at the body shop or the service drive? You can see the resting position with the box lids from driver compared to passenger. Very disappointed with this fit and finish

@MegaStro do you by chance have the factory dividers in your RamBox? Mine did the same thing, and I noticed that a single divider was coming in contact with the lid forcing my drivers side box lid out just like yours. I grinded that one down and it shuts identical to the passenger side now. Just a thought…..

Never a divider or a full load of anything in the box. It has a few first aid items, additional hitch balls, a reaching pole for the bed, and an extension cords for the outlet if needed.

When i first got my 2019 with the Ram boxes there was a recall related to the glue or double sided tape that holds the painted covers on. Regardless they have never looked right and often hang up and bind when you close them. Had it in the dealer for adjustment multiple times and it's still looks and functions terrible.

I've one like that too. Service manager said wait until your warranty is almost over and submit for new ones lol.
I have a lot of warranty left and refuse to settle with this. Never had this issue before on any of my trucks

Has it been like this since new or did it happen since then. I just took delivery of mine this week and was really surprised how well they fit. Hoping they stay that way.

Took delivery 1 Dec last year, seemed good at first and then I noticed it was really bad about 2 months ago when I had a central lock issue. Seems to be getting worse in the heat. It is garaged when at home as well. @RamCares may need to start tracking this issue, cant imagine they would be happy with a supplier providing these parts in the $80k+ trucks. Never had an issue with any other Ramboxes I had, seems to be a newer issue. I ordered this truck specifically for the Ramboxes and feel it may be a mistake. I did happen to see a GMC Denali dually today that was sharp as heck, if the Rambox continues to get worse and I have to give up on the Rambox I may give it a deeper look.
