I run the Front Runner rack and some of their accessories. They make it pretty easy to bolt or tie down whatever you want to it; either with their own kits or your own. Their awning has an optional swing out arm so you can deploy it on the side of the truck or over the tailgate (and anywhere in between).
I like it because it's low profile and your accessories sit under the roofline of the truck. Good for clearance, center of gravity, and MPG. Draw back is that you loose some storage in the bed. I added a bedslide also.
