Anyone with a mega cab install an onboard air tank? I was able to get LogIQ and my bags installed and now am trying to figure out where to mount an auxiliary air tank. The body mounts for the mega cab seem to be both closer together and more of them from what I remember under my crew cab (could be wrong). On the driver frame rail the ebrake line runs the entire length on outside and there are fuel lines on the inside of the rail which makes me hesitant to try anything on that side. I installed my compressor on passenger side and now only have space in front of it which is only about 13" between body mounts.

I've searched and found multiple installation of what looks like 2-3 gallon tanks up under the cab but their body mounts look way farther apart than what I have to work with. Looking for some installation ideas from anyone who has already tackled this! Thanks!

I have a 5 gallon tank a big boy 200 psi compressor and a set of train horns all on my passenger side rails.

Got any pictures of your setup under there? The OEM running boards I think are my limiting factor but after making some cardboard boxes the size of my components I "think" I have an idea on how to squeeze a 2 gallon on the passenger rail as well as the compressor setup.

Yeah I can grab a few pictures and I am running the factory running boards also. I had to get a specific size 5 gallon tank to make it fit not just any tank will.

Here is one I did on a Laramie short box with custom made frame brackets. We did have to shallow up the floorboard storage box by about 3” to keep tank higher. Thats a nice install appreciate the pics! I don't have as much room as you due to the OEM power deploy running boards :(
I think I could fab up some bracket to mount under the bed in front of the spare wheel (at least a small tank) but having to crawl all the way under there to open the valve to drain out water from time to time is annoying :) Its my backup plan at least right now. If thats my only option I'll come up with some automated release valve setup I suppose.

On my duallys I always installed the compressor farther back on the frame rail - more under the bed than the cab.
