Ram Dually loses both rear tires

This happened today where my wife works. Came off the highway crashed into coworkers Volvo.

Back in the 1980s the trucking company I worked for had a set of duals come off a trailer.

The pair brake drum and all hit the front of a big car and pushed the engine back and the tires hit the front windshield. They got sued and I’m glad I hadn’t worked on that trailer before the accident.

I can’t figure out why the tires stay together. By the looks of the pictures my wife sent me the brake drum is still there.

Someone probably retrieved them and stacked them there to be picked up later.

possibly had a spacer that is still bolted to the wheels? would also explain why all the lugs sheared off in the first place

It’s funny, you mention that there was a giraffe a parrot out front. They stole the parrot so the company had to cement the Metal animals in the ground.
