Ram Trucks Australia has officially unveiled the limited edition Yellowstone Edition Ram 2500Laramie Crew Cab 4×4, inspired by the popular television series Yellowstone. Created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, Yellowstone is set to return for the second part of its fifth season on November 10, 2024. This announcement comes after the successful launch of two Yellowstone Edition Ram 2500 models in Brazil.

I like my Yellowstone better. Kinda of a Thunderbirds vibe.

Pfft. One round bail and it's over payload.

:D
This got me curious and I looked up the Ram AUS specs. They only have them listed for the Laramie, so I’d assume they’re even lower for the more heavily optioned “Yellowstone”. This is of course converted from kg to lbs, but the 2500 over there has a 9900 lb GVWR, and 6000/6040 lb F/R axle ratings. The 3500 is 11800 GVWR and 6000/7000 axle ratings. Listed available payload for the 2500 is only 1900 lbs.

Both trucks are rated to 1600 lbs towing unbraked, 9900 lbs brakes on the ball, and 17600 lbs with air brakes on a gooseneck. All of those numbers are due to AUS law, and I’ve heard they’re a lot less forgiving of fudging your numbers.

The Yellowstone truck is also the equivalent of $130,000 USD. o_O
