Ram 3500 Trailer Wiring Faults

New member. I see lots of good stuff here. Hope I can get some insight to this problem.

2020 Ram 3500 6.4 Hemi 4x4 SRW

With NO TRAILER CONNECTED, I immediately get a “Trailer Connected” notification in the dash information center.
STILL NO TRAILER - If the tights turn on, either manually or automatically, I get a TRAILER DISCONNECTED notification AND the red trailer brake light comes on.
Also, if I turn the lights OFF, the cab lights and only the cab lights blink at a steady rate.
I suspect a short but I wanted to see if there is anyone who has had a similar issue with the brake module or TIPM?

Check for water/corrosion in the 7-way plug, that will cause weird issues like you are having

Clean out the bumper 7 pin corrosion will back feed the system i had it happen with my cab lights just a quick clean and reapply dielectric grease
