Radio Reset Directions for model year 2022-2024 Ram trucks

Hi everyone,

We wanted to start a thread for any of you that may be experiencing an intermittent blank screen on certain radios (sales code UAA, size 5.0'). To avoid an unnecessary radio replacement, try resetting the radio by pressing and hold the volume/power button for 10 seconds until the radio resets. This reset should work for model years 2022-2024.

We would be happy to check sales codes for you or provide any other info we can if you have questions. This direction is also available to your dealerships, again in an effort to not replace radios if it is not needed.

I have a2024 Ram 2500 that either CarPlay shuts off and on or a blank screen. I have tried the reset numerous times and it doesn’t fix it. It’s become very annoying actually. I traded in a 2020 with the same 12” screen and never had an issue. This truck was purchased new and has had nothing but problems in several areas since the first week of ownership.

What about when the presets or theme reset? Have had those problems for 3 years and no solution has been offered except a reset which doesn't work.
