Radio doesnt work

So randomly on my 3 week old truck radio upon start (usually xm) says loading please wait or something but all radio functions are useless. Only way to get it to work is turn off truck for awhile and restart and then works fine again. Heres what's funny buddy has new truck also, its 2 days old does same thing so must be common. Hes going to ask his dealer this week when he gets liner installed but i cant get to dealer till December at best so wanted to hear anyone knows anything about issue, assume its just some sofware update needed or something.

It is doing over the air updates, just leave it on until it finishes.kind of a PITA at times.

No it aint updates...literally makes ALL screen options inop and never ends have to shutoff truck to clear. Good news is both of our trucks are doing it less often lately and seems to have fixed itself
