@ 130K miles my 2015 RAM 2500 6.4 radiator took a dump. Suggestions on a replacement. How difficult of a job? And besides new idlers and belt should I be replacing the hoses? Thanks.

I would replace the lower hose for sure as it is almost impossible to do without removing a bunch of stuff and for sure not a roadside repair.

Its a bit fiddley getting all the parts out that are packed in. Did the usual side tank split? I looked around and there are no quality replacements available, which I cannot believe. Blown up 2 of those paper thin tanks.

I would also look at replacing the EGR coolant hose which is under the intake manifold.

When my thermostat failed the engine ran cold and wouldn’t get up to normal operating temperature.

I started overheating like crazy a couple of weeks back. I have blown up 2 radiator tanks in 2 years, and right before the 2nd one I did the water pump and thermostat due to leaking. Then the next radiator blew, and months later over heating. Not sure all the tie ins, but over heating went away.
