How common is it for the RAMs to loose their paint on the intercooler. I have 57K miles on mine went for a 2400 mile trip 2 weeks ago. After taking the truck to a car wash noticed that what looks like the intercooler is loosing paint. I think it looks bad, and shouldn't be doing this. Any repair suggestions? I don't like painting radiators but may have to. Looks like the truck went boxing and lost some teeth ;-)

It looks like little rock chips.

I use one of these in warmer months. Helps with rock chips and bug guts. Not sure if this helps but figured I'd share. Easy to put on with 3M snaps.
