In these new 2025 trucks with the accident avoidance and pedestrian auto braking , how is this going to work? Do all modles have it. Can you disable it? What about other Vehicles? Is it going to work like AUTO Cruise Control where someone cuts you off and the truck hits the brakes? Will it give you more room when you are towing? Less? What if you decide for some reason that you WANT to hit someone in a Vehicle or on foot? Seriously. I am always running all these Scenarios through my mind and I am not so sure I want this stuff on my Truck. It could be a PATA.

Same as it has in previous Ram trucks.

Yes.

Yes.
What about other Vehicles?
All vehicles will eventually be required to have these features, but most vehicles already will have them standard anyway for 2025 moving forward.

Yes, just like adaptive cruise has always worked in ram trucks.
Will it give you more room when you are towing? Less?
No, but the distance is adjustable with 4 different distance settings.
What if you decide for some reason that you WANT to hit someone in a Vehicle or on foot?
You can turn it all off, and then you can run into whatever you want to on purpose, without the vehicle interfering.

this is a good thing to be able to do if in an emergency situation and you need to get yourself to safety with all of the riots and protests that go on these days its important to be able to turn the nanny system off

So you are saying a 24 Ram 3500 Laramie will apply the brakes to avoid hitting a Pedestrian? Sheesh, where have I been. I thought this was new for 25 based on some of the posts about the new grille etc.
