So, my 2500's i was fine. however in the 3500 something is killing my knee. i dont know if the pedal is offset, or i dont know. it all looks identical to the 2500 i got rid of. does the aisin change the trans hump? somethings bothering my let and not sure what it is about it.

dumb i know. but man it hurts lol

Pedal position could definitely play a role, but TBH I’ve never used on on either of my 4th gen trucks.

i dont think i ever used mine either. if anything maybe i put it all they way down as low as it went and left it there the entire time i ran any of my trucks. I was reading up on it and seems like theres a bunch of stuff involved. but not certain. ill have to look into it more i guess and see if maybe it will fix the problem.

The right knee? Are you sure its the truck? Maybe have it looked at.

yea right knee. something about the way the pedal is aggravates it. didn't start till i switched trucks. It did this when i had the 2000's 1500 back in the day.

It could be a minor difference in the seating position.

When I had my 2020 I would occasionally get a weird discomfort on the left side of my rib cage as well as some knee pain. When I got my 2023 it went away and I was good for a year and a half. I accidentally overwrote my memory seat setting with my wife, and then after manually setting it back to where I need it I’m getting the rib and knee pain issue again.

Your position doesn’t have to be off by much to cause issues, and in finding that wiggle room gets smaller as I get older.

I finding my right knee to my hip hurts but only after a couple hours of driving on my 3500. I purchased one of those wedge pillows to sit on from Amazon which helped a lot.
The screen shot of this pillow is a much better quality than the ones I saw in Walmart. I pay $20 less for it a year and a half ago but I'm sure in the States it will be considerably less expensive. This particular pillow is made of firm dense foam, I had a softy Walmart one which did no good at all. Not saying its your cure but it helped me.
When we get older some body parts just hurt for no god damn good reason.

I had the same issue, right knee pain after driving for 30 minutes or more.

I adjusted my seat as far back as it would go and the pedals as far forward as they could go (in order to try have less bend in my leg), but it didn't work.

What worked for me, is that I use the adaptive cruise control and will stretch my leg to the left of the pedals. Obviously, it wouldn't help if there is no ACC on the truck, or for a lot of stop and go traffic, but my commute is mostly back roads with not too many stops.

Anecdotally, I had found that I would have knee pain in any situation in which I had my leg bent for a period of time (like sitting down and not stretching it out), so my issue may be different than yours (I may just have bad knees). The knee seems better now though.

I had to change my seating positions across vehicles due to sciatica issues popping up when I drive. Unfortunately my crawler seat is welded in position and I get sciatica flare ups on long trail days. I need to spend some time re-configuring that seat mount

About your seats, what did you change to help your sciatica ?

I moved them so I’m sitting more upright like a bus driver rather than a car driver.. if that makes sense. Closer to the pedal, butt further back in the seat, back more upright etc. Also, stretching and hydration are big parts of keeping sciatica flare ups away. For me, one of the first signs I’m getting dehydrated is a lack of flexibility and sciatic pain

I can relate to this sciatica, especially when the seat position places the hip bone below the knee. I added a memory foam wedge posture thing for my seat from Amazon. Worked pretty well. Cheap.
