Curious for those that have taken delivery of a 2023 Powerwagon if you have the 12in touchscreen and ventilated seats when they weren't part of your initial order. My truck finally got built and when I looked at the window sticker, it appears you get the 12in touchscreen as part of Level 1 or 2 now. I had wanted the 8.4 screen, but its looking like you get the big 12in screen whether you like it or not now.

I also saw a line item for ventilated seats on there. I have the 40/20/40 leather bench seat on my Level 1 PW. I knew it had heated seats, but ventilated wasn't an option. I think those were originally only available on the 2022 and later trucks if you had the level 3 package. Any of you bench seat guys get ventilated/ cooled seats as an unexpected bonus? @Kennesaw Power Wagon , @Shocktrooper392 , @jsalbre I snooped on your window stickers and the line item shows on yours too for both. Did you guys unexpectedly get the big 12in screen and vented/ cooled seats in addition to heated ones? With all the weird package changes and restrictions that have happened since I ordered, I don't know if I should believe the sticker or not. Haha.

I knew I was getting the 12” screen and ventilated seats. The 12” screen shows in the order guides for Level 1 and Level 2. Level 2 also lists “Leather Trimmed Bucket Seats” which includes “Ventilated Front Seats (CAJ)”. Level 1 lists “Leather Trim 40/20/40 Bench Seat” which includes the same ventilated seats listing. As I have Level 2 I have buckets seats and a center console, not a bench seat.

Yeah I noticed on the site builder that the 12in screen was the default for both levels, but you can choose the 8.4. So I guess it will be a surprise what shows up. At this point, I would be fine with either. I like the look and compactness of the 8.4 more, but everyone that has the 12in screen seems to like it and not have any particular issues with it.

That's awesome on the seats. Is it just a fan in the seat? They aren't technically 'cooled' seats with AC, right?

Off topic but I still keep thinking my 21 is brand new.... Now the 23's are here and reminding me its two years old already...

I can contribute something though. My 21 has the 12 inch screen and its super awesome. Highly recommend and if yours comes with it you'll be happy.

is just a fan, no actual cooling, but it sure seemed to do a good job in my 2020. I suppose if you put the AC on and split it to the floor vents some of the cool air that's blown under the seat would get sucked up by the seat fan.

I knew I was getting a 12" tv and ball cooler seats when I ordered because its part of the level 2 pack. Vented seats make a big difference with the black leather. Love the 12" screen; I'd driven a TRX for a week through my business last year and I thought originally I wouldn't care for it but its actually laid out really well and much better than competitor vehicles. Biggest thing that makes a massive difference compared to other large screen cars I've driven (specifically stupid Tesla) is that a lot of major controls have physical buttons and knobs which is more convenient when you're driving or trying to do something quickly.
That being said, when I first got the truck it did seem like the 12" screen was really slow to load between pages; but in the last few weeks it has either gotten faster ('break in' maybe?) or I just don't notice it anymore. On that note, I do recall when I got my Challenger (8.4") the performance pages would be really slow to load but now load fairly quick... maybe this was a software update fix idk.

All in all, I think you'll love the 12" screen once you get in the truck and start using it everyday. Also the digital instrument cluster (the only tangible feature I wasn't aware I was getting when I ordered) has surprised me at how much I like it. As @jsalbre had said elsewhere, driving down the road with the Nav in your cluster is a game changer. Other food for thought is that I just crossed 500 miles on the truck yesterday and around 450+ miles I've noticed the fuel economy and engine power has gotten better. This is obviously normal for a new engine because of break-in. With my challenger, which had a much longer break-in period than the truck (0-500 mi -drive it very lightly, 500-1000 mi -can be driven and is encouraged to drive up to 50% throttle in higher gears, 1000-1500 mi - WOT allowed but launch control and full track mode unavailable until 1500), it got barely above single digit MPGs during the first 500 miles no matter how easy I drove it.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Guess I'll be surprised on the screen when it shows up. My dealer swears he ordered the 8.4, but like the digital dash, I think on this trim you get what they give. Either way, I'll be happy. Cleaner and more old school look or giant new toy in the dash. Haha.

The digital dash seems to be getting a lot of love too. So glad about that as I wasn't super keen on it when I first saw it.

Jazzed on the ventilated seats. That will be a very welcome option!

I agree - having had the 12” on my PXL and TRX, it’s great. And the ventilated seats work really well, much better than in my previous BMW.

Same here, and mine is a 19. I need to stop reading all the new truck posts it makes me feel old, lol

Vented seats are nice not only with black leather but with any color leather, I ordered mine with beige / blue interior, that was the only other option on Limited beside black. With cloth seats it's not as crucial but would probably help too.

You'd be happy with a 12" screen, now if I look at any smaller screen sizes, usually in other brands, the smaller screen makes the interior look ancient. However if you specifically ordered a 8.4 it's what you will likely get, but we shall see I guess.
