Has anyone mounted the PW winch mount on a 2500/3500? Was lookIng at Vice designs but after doing some research the PW mount will fit the 2500/3500 gasser and price is about the same. Below are the part numbers I have found. Anyone gone this route?

Mount - 68400221AA
Lower Grill - 68384298AA

I have been researching the winch options also. My Rebel came from a dealer order without the winch. Both mounts seem about the same to me also. I am trying to figure out the actual winches offered. the Vice Warn winch is wireless and about $2000 cheaper than the OEM, which is wired. I can't figure out how Vice deals with the clutch lock. The OEM seems to be flipped around some how. I would go with the Vice setup and the OEM grill if I could see where the clutch lock ends up. If I would have ordered the truck from Chrysler, the whinch would have been a $2000 option. To add it after the fact with all OEM parts, it's in the $4000 neighborhood.

For the Vice design on the 2500 I assume you have to reach under and engage and disengage the clutch. With the 1500 version they have a clutch relocation kit that allows the clutch to come through the lower grill, pic attached from Vice website.

@NC Rebel just recently did the Vice design install with a badlands winch. No relocation kit so you have to reach under the bumper.

If you purchase one of the 2 winches they recommend and clock the winch 180 degrees this changes the location of the spool handle. I decided to go with a less expensive option with the Badlands winch. Might not be the best solution but I have no issue with it and it works great. You will have to reach under there and grab the handle to free spool or you can leave it locked and just let the winch out with the remote, takes a little longer but still doable.

I just watched the Vice install video and I see how the clutch lock setup works. The clutch lock is hidden behind the grill mess and seems pretty accessible. I had a 2013 FJ Cruiser with an ARB bumber and winch setup. The clutch lock was on top inside the bumper with a small cutout for access. Over time the lock gets stiff with road grime and it was almost impossible to move without a good shot of WD and bloody knuckles. I like the wireless controller and cost of the Vice setup. I think with the OEM grill I should be able th reach straight through to access the lock.
