Looking to potentially upgrade to a different trailer, considering Grand Design and other quality brands. I’ve had good luck with my current Forest River Flagstaff.

What dealers have you all had good luck with regarding service and pricing?

I have a new Rockwood Super Lite ordered at RV Wholesalers in Ohio. Prices are skyrocketing but they guaranteed their price upon delivery, which I was told will be 5-7 months.

Couch’s RV in Ohio is a volume dealer. No haggle easy process. Bought a North Trail last year. Cheapest I could find. They make their money off extended warranties n such. Just don’t fall into the fluff and get out with a good deal!

Depends on where in the country you live, and how far you want to drive if you find something that is not close to you. For the Grand Design, I got a good deal from the dealer Cookeville Tennessee, and I have heard good things about the dealer in Ringgold Georgia. Unfortunately, like most everything, if you can get MSRP, you are doing good.

Service, most just suck. Unless it is warranty issue's, or want to wait 3+ months for mediocre work at best, do your own. A number of people are using mobile techs, they generally will do a better job. I do know for Grand Design, they will usually okay a mobile tech for warranty work, you will only need to pay for the mobile techs travel time.

Thanks! I knew there was a well known dealer in Ohio but couldn’t remember the name. I’ll check them out.

Thanks, I’m near St Louis, not opposed to driving up to 8 hours. I’ve actually seen some of the YouTube videos from Cookesville Marine and RV. I may check with them.

I asked LazyDays for a quote and they offered about $3500 under MSRP.

I drove from St. Louis to Leach Campers in Lincoln, Nebraska because of an over the phone price quote that beat everyone. Over a year later I had a roof leak on a trip to Colorado. I drove straight back to Leach from Colorado. They let me drop the trailer off and fixed the leak for free. I was able to picked it up the very next weekend. Made a happy customer here so I gotta throw their name out there.

Keep in mind long term service/ support/ maintenance.

Honestly, if you are going to be out traveling as well, dealerships who have a larger market presence can be priceless when in need.

One of the dealerships, from what I perceive, has some of the best prices and service/ support etc is LazyDayz RV in FL. (they have several national locations)

Also, dig into youtube. There is so much information there and peeps who specialize in getting you a guaranteed lowest price, for example

Matt's RV Reviews. They will help you find the best deals, and even validate you're getting a good deal for free;

Also, though I cannot speak from personal experience, Camping World seems to be absolutely despised amongst RV'ers.
I do not mean to through shade there however, use extreme caution from what I understand. Have read many many many horror stories.

I have no affiliation therein, I have been in the market myself for a fifth wheel doing research for almost a year now.

t & s rv in sarasota tex. tim medows. beat everyone i talked to in the southeast by enough to make the drive from n ga. was super easy to work with did everything by phone and internet.
