Pre-pick up paperwork completion

Since a lot of ya'll travel to get your trucks, figure there is a lot of familiarity here with the subject. My dealership is 2-1/2 hours away, so I would like to get it all taken care of prior to driving down, so it is just walk-thru, inspection, and drive away.

1. Were you able to complete paperwork (including financing) prior to the truck actually arriving at the dealer?
2. How hard was it to schedule the paperwork
3. Any other lessons learned?

Can someone send me the fabled inspection list I have seen mentioned?

1. Yes, about a week or two in advance. I opted to do financing through my own bank, but dealer offered to do it remotely if I wanted.
2. It was a piece of cake, dealer handled it all and had a short Skype meeting.
3. Mark dodge is the best dealership I have ever dealt with.
