Trying to decide between the two trucks but cannot figure out what the difference is between the 75th anniversary edition power wagon and the Limited. These are the two window stickers I'm looking at. Thanks.

For the record I know about the obvious things that the power wagon has such as detachable sway bars, winch, 4.10 gears, and off-road pages. I'm looking for the more hidden differences such as leather quality and plushness, tech features, ride height, and so on. Admittedly this is a pavement princess and will only see gravel roads, so interior amenities and tech are paramount to me as I am trading in a 110k BMW X5. The limited seems a sure choice yet the 75th anniversary edition seems to be fully loaded to limited specs aside from rear air which I don't tow so I could care less. I just like the look of the PW. Thanks again ya'll

Your last sentence, since you know about what is in the Powerwagon package, is your answer.

You seem to just be buying the truck for the truck statement. Might as well make it bold with the Powerwagon.

The Powerwagon can bw had with all the same tech, the ride height is a bit higher, and the ride should be better...but everyone has a different opinion about ride.

The 75 A just pretty much took the laramie interior for the center console and a little more glam.

Now if you were using the truck for truck stuff there is a lot more to consider. But we have plenty of threads for that.

GVWR ... 10,000lbs for the limited 8565lbs for the PW. Doesn’t really matter if you’re not towing or hauling.

I’m guessing the air suspension rides better than the coil sprung truck. Power wagon suspension is softer than that standard 2500 suspension though. Power wagon sits higher than the standard 2500, and has bigger diameter tires(and smaller wheel diameter)

power wagon has matte/textured black powder coated bumpers, limited has body color paint matched. Power wagon has matte black fender flares.

otherwise these two trucks are pretty comparatively spec’d.

if you’re not towing/hauling, and not using it offroad... the 1500 would ride smoother and have a larger cab. Big Difference is you can’t get the 6.4 hemi in the 1500

One of my biggest concerns is whether the 75A uses the higher quality leather like the Limited and the Longhorn or the lower quality of the Laramie.

I did not know there was a difference. Then I guess that answer is the lower of the Laramie

Last time I sat in a Laramie Leather it was night and day difference from my plush Southfork Longhorn 3500 I had in 2018. Both in leather feel and foam softness.

I'm not sure what the leather is like or seat comfort is like in the Limited or Laramie, but I can tell you that in my 75th the leather is very nice and the seats are extremely comfortable. Everyone that gets in comments on it actually.

I haven't seen it in person, but in the videos I've seen the leather on the 75A looks on par with the leather in the Longhorn and Limited. It doesn't look like the leather in the Laramie. Really nice truck.

I wish you could get the 5 seat w/console interior in something other than that hideous brown. I was actually thinking about trading my 20 in because I always wanted a PW with the console but not with that interior.

So what did you decide? I’m in the same boat right now, but between a 75A PW and a Limited Cummins (and can’t decide if I want CC or Mega). So did you get the PW? Is the leather nice?

I test drove both the Power Wagon and a Laramie with Air Suspension. I had a 1500 ED with 4 corner air and I was looking for a better tow vehicle, but it rode like a old-school Caddy. I knew an upgrade would result in a harsher ride, but I was looking for a middle-ground tow rig. For my needs, the PW was like riding a buckboard. Drove over a few speed bumps at slow speeds and damn near went through the roof like Fred Flinstone. The salesman was in the back seat and almost went airborne. The Laramie was definitely a better ride in comparison to the PW. I would hazard to guess the Limited my be even better as options give it a little more weight than the Laramie.

Based on ride comfort without any serious weight on board, the air ride trumped the off-road set up for my vote.

I'd hazard a guess that the tester you drove probably had the tires filled to whatever crazy psi it was delivered at. Just for shirts and giggles I checked out the tires on mine when it arrived and I did the walkthrough before they swapped on the Nittos and they were were almost 80.
