Power Running Board failures

I have been having intermittent running board fails in my 2019 2500 Limited Megacab. I couldn't find any discussion on sensor issues. Occasionally, the driver side step won't retract when door closed and likewise won't deploy when door opened. It appears to be very random, and difficult to pinpoint. Any thoughts or similar issues?

I would start by disconnecting and inspecting the harness plug for it, clean it both male and female sides and contact lube when reassembling. Check for changes in behavior unless an obvious issue is found during inspection.

Update, still having same issue, regular mechanic couldn't recreate issue in the 2 days they had it,
RAM shop recreated the issue "cleaned and lubed the pivots, scanned tested, no DTC, found Star bulletin S2323000020 tested several times and operated as designed" but as I picked it up, opened the door and it did not deploy.
Over next 4 days issue continued on and off, not just not deploying but also not retracting when door closes. Going back to RAM on 8/6.
Any thoughts or knowledge @ Star bulletins
