Have a 2019 ram 2500 bighorn. Bought in late September 2022, was ram certified with some of original warranty left. I bought extended drive train. Anyway it has been in the shop since nov4 of 2022. They can’t seem to figure out the popping sound. Replaced u joints, transfer case, transmission, the cab mounts. Now they tell me I need to wait til next week for an engineer from Detroit. They have had my truck almost 3 mos. More than I have been able to drive. I am getting very frustrated as I need my truck. The rental they gave me can’t do what the 2500 was intended. Today is 1/26/2023. How much longer do I need to wait to get my truck back. Sheesh.

It sounds like at least they've been able to recreate the sound, so you're ahead of many.

What sounds like popping to you may be very different to the rest of us, so not even going to try and suggest things to look at, but hopefully the venting helped and you'll be back on the road soon enough.

any update? trying to track down pop/clunk on hard acceleration. I've loosened and re-torqued the rear control arms, shock, sway bar, driveshaft bolts. might be the differential?

They still have truck an engineer came from Detroit. Said he new what it was. Said it was a transmission brace. Well that didn’t fixit. So am waiting on him to come back. Very frustrated been over 4mos. Have camping coming very soon. So so very frustrated can’t even begin to put it in words.

think bad track bar would clunk on accleration and not going over bumps and stuff? I've had bad ones before, and they get really noisy over bumps and stuff.
