I just tinted my windows and am not thrilled with the aft front door and forward back door window frames having the matte black covering.

I am thinking about removing it, but first I would like see what it wold look like with the body paint showing all the way around the windows.

I have a 2500 painted Hydro blue. If someone with Hydro blue and window tint already has the vinyl removed could post a side picture I would appreciate it.

I think it would look better but if one is available I would like to see before removing mine.

I don't have a photo for you. But, I looked at doing that on a darker truck (Max Steel) and thought it would look good. I'm not so sure I'd like the look on a lighter truck (mine's now Pearl White). Something to consider...maybe replace the matte vinyl with glossy black vinyl?

On second thought, screwing around quickly with an image editor and the Ram truck builder...it might look pretty great without vinyl tape.

We are thinking about adding the black wrap on my daughters 2020 Classic 1500 in Hydro Blue.
Her's is colour matched like the picture above but we thought it would look better in
black to blend with the tinted windows.

A before and after picture would be great if you do it.

Do it i have a black truck that didnt come with the wrap on the door pillars it just looks better since we dont have the top crease on the doors like the 4th gen did it does not look out of place if its body color i wish i had that blue though or the old orange dodge had

Do a Google search for a tradesman in whatever color you want. Tradesman trucks don't get the vinyl on the doors.

I'm in the "take it off" group. Took mine off within a week of getting my truck. I think the only time it might make sense is if you have the glossy wrap because it can blend in with the windows more, if you're going for that look. If you have the matte, which most do, then I think it looks better off. Here is what Max Steel looks like. Yours would stand out way more but I think it will look better.
