Payload Information - New Truck before Delivery

Is there a way to determine the final payload rating of your truck ordered, produced but not yet delivered from the Saltillo plant ? The build sheet does not include this information nor does the Window sticker.

Your payload will be the GVWR rating minus the actual as built curb weight. The difference between these two numbers is your actual payload. Most specs you find are going to show max and minimum number. A low optioned vehicle will have more payload than a highly option vehicle.

thanks. i was just trying to determine if i could get that number before delivery. You can get everything like build sheet and window sticker, but you cant get the payload or the estimated time of dealer arrival on line. I suspect it is somewhere, but maybe not available to the end customer until delivery.

Did you try plugging in the VIN on the site Brutal posted above? Mine showed up there the day that I got my VIN.

Scroll to the bottom to the look up my vehicle tab. Click it and enter your VIN.

No one has a clue about the arrival time at the dealer. Even God can not answer that one.
