Does anyone know if the Glass can be replaced with a non-magnified mirror on the large mirror, I cannot see crap out of it. I don't want to drive with them flipped up. I am looking for a direct fit replacement with a "object may be closer than they appear" normal mirror. Thanks.

If you find one, I'd be interested. It's a dangerous design flaw in my opinion, but hasn't changed in the last 10 years. I was thinking of getting a larger convex truck mirror in polycarbonate and cutting it down to fit over the factory lens. - a real faff for something that should be better in the first place!
I would love to have a slightly convex mirror for the passenger mirror. If I adjust the outside mirror where I want it to see cars in my blind spot it doesn't work well for other uses. I haven't found right the balance yet. I was excited about the auto-tilt at first but I find it tilts too much for me.
