Parking brake switch stays ON

Where exactly is it located?
Dash indicator stays ON even though brakes are released. It will eventually release itself until next time parking brake are used. Then it's stuck for a while once again.
I wanna see if I can fix it before asking dealer.

Try lifting up on the pedal see if it goes away it could be from the brakes needing adjustment or the cable needing to be tightened.

According to the manual, if the brake light says illuminated after the parking brake is released there is something wrong with the brake system. Fluid level, brake booster etc. I believe I was looking at page 179

Well if your in my neck of the woods it might be froze c0(£ stiff . If your in a warm local maybe gummed-up/ rusted cable or linkage at the backing plate or in the drum.
