Hey guys.
Roaming through the interwebs I can not find any real answers. Here's the sitch.
I own a 2020 Ram 2500 with the Laramie tow package. Super happy with this beast so far. The truck came with from the factory 4 TTPMS sensors. when I scheduled my first service from the dealer I asked if they could install these on my trailer. Nope...Cool, I went to Discount tire and they installed them and re-balanced the 4 wheels for 48 bucks. no big deal.
So when I finally got done when with all the wife's honey do's I went out and tried the pairing process. It's all very straight forward in the U connect settings.
I've tried over half a dozen times and CAN NOT get the pairing to happen.
Thanks for reading the rant, just want answers.

I'm bumping up this old thread to add to it. Presumably the OP had a good outcome as his post was a one and gone. Since he didn't share his outcome, I figured I'd share mine.

I followed the pairing instructions in the manual and could not get the first tire to pair. I tried dropping it 5 psi, 10 psi, tried deflating a different tire as tire 1 to make sure I didn't have a bad sensor in tire 1. None of it worked. I read 1FastHemi's post that Brutal_HO linked above. The two things in his instructions that were different from what I was doing is that I didn't have my engine running and I didn't have my trailer plugged in. Tried it again with those two changes and paired up all four tires with no issues. I don't know if both things were required, but using those instructions fixed me. The manual doesn't say whether you need to be running or off and in run but it does say that you can either plug in your trailer or just have your truck close to it. That doesn't appear to be correct.

Thanks to 1FastHemi for his instructions!
