My other automotive vehicle is a 2024 Jeep Wrangler UL 4xe that is mildly built and used as a daily driver and weekend exploration rig. My girlfriend and I took it on an exhausting but epic 10hr/185 mile drive from the Idaho/Washington border over into Idaho, and then into the deep Idaho wilderness area near the Montana border. It was 97 degrees in town when we left before noon, and mid 80's at 6k feet in the mountains. Breathtaking views of the wilderness. The road was rough, narrow, jarring, and required decent ground clearance and tougher tires. My Ram could have made it easily, but not without redneck racing stripes.
The only other vehicles we encountered were a beat-up older Ram 1500 and a new Toyota Tundra TRD totally stock. The Tundra left quite a few scrape marks on rocks, but made it out unassisted.
