OTA Update - Now Missing Cameras

Received the update this morning. I had the 18.45.40 version and now have 19.49.13. It took probably around 35 mins or so to download. I have a question though... my soft buttons at the bottom didn't change with the exception of the far right button. Under the old software, it was my backup camera (which when pressed allowed me to select other camera positions). Now, with this morning's update, the soft button is a "U", with little "wifi beams" above it (sorry for the weak description). I don't know what that is. When I press it, UConnect beeps, but nothing happens. Also, and this is a bigger issue for me, where did my backup camera soft button go? I've looked around for it withing the UConnect apps, where I could see it previously, but now it's gone from there too. I've tried finding it with the truck in "run" (with the engine not turned over), actually running, in park and in drive, but can't seem to find were I can turn on the cameras. I really need these cameras because I park my 21' dually in a 23' garage. TIA for any assistance or advice.

Have you driven much after the install? Mine said it had installed successfully, etc, and it seemed OK for about five starts, then it went completely black. It did not respond to any inputs, etc. I was on the road for about 20 minutes or so, and it suddenly woke up, and resumed operation. The Nav screen had the wrong location for a couple minutes, but eventually found itself.

Thanks for the response. Haven't driven the truck since the update (had to get into the office). I'm heading out for lunch in about an hour, so I'll see if there's any change then. Will get back with an update... assuming there's anything to update.

FIXED: I went back out to the truck, after it sat for about 3 hours, started 'er up and the backup camera icon is back and working. This did NOT require a negative battery cable pull/reset. It fixed itself on its own.

I did notice some other UConnect update weirdness though. I noticed that directly after the update, my selected icons changed from blue to red. I thought this was simply a new default color setting and would change it later if I felt inclined. Turns out that when I went back out to the truck, to check on the backup camera disappearance issue, the icons were back to blue.

The more I learn about technology, the more confused I get. Thanks for the assistance. I mostly lurk here as finding most answers is just a search button click away. This is a good owners site.

Mine did exactly the same thing this morning to include changing to red. In addition to losing the backup camera it also wiped my preset Sirius XM channels and changed my display settings to the default. My camera also came back and I set it back up to my preferences. The only thing I noticed different is some of the Sirius channels now have a button that randomly allows you to start the song from the beginning. It didn't appear on all stations or songs just seemingly happenstance. Hopefully this update improves functionality and debugs previous glitches.
