I just ordered the Titan 7030313 for my 2020 RAM 3500 Tradesman CC LB dually. Is there anything else I will need to order to install this tank?

Once installed, has anyone had issues using AlphaODB to adjust the MTE?

Hhmmmm, so if the CP4 goes out in my truck, with the Titan tank installed, should I be concerned about warranty coverage?

I wouldn’t be worried at all

An AUXILLERY FUEL TANK WILL NOT VOID A WARRANTY . THE FUEL STILL HAS TO GO THRU THE FILTERS .

I installed one and you should get more of the fabric wire protector. I just use the factory filler it works well . I did put the pump and filter in the bed against the bed wall by the tank . I didn't like the idea of crawling under the truck to change the filter . My son bent a piece of steel to protect it . Came out nice and clean.

The Magnuson-moss act applies to all manufacturers. They would have to prove that your fuel tank caused the issue.....not gonna happen.

you would also need to have the funds to pay for the arguments that mediators/attorneys will have, defending you. not saying it would happen, but you are taking a chance changing anything away from factory.. in theory.

This is what's stopping me from getting a titan fuel tank. Even though there's absolutely no reason why a larger fuel tank should have any impact on the injector pump, I bet the dealer would at least try to point a finger at it first. My experience with all dealer service department has been terrible, I swear every year service writers are required by corporate to take a 3 day course on how to lie and bull sh*t the customer.

Here they are and don’t pay attention to people worrying about adding a tank . I don’t know where they come up with this stuff. There is a whole industry built around after market tanks . Been adding them on to trucks for years .

Two more shots of install

If manufacturers were able to get out of a jamb that’s easy, maybe we shouldn’t change our own oil or fill up at a filling station. Too many people worrying about too many “what-ifs?”

Well, the deed is done. It is so installed. Now to find time to play with the MTE.

Why don’t you order a truck with 50 gal factory tank?

Why don’t most dealers order the option? It doesn’t break the bank.

2019s didn’t have the option

Yes, if I was to get a LB, I would certainly get that; and it is surprising that dealers would not put that on the order, especially for every dually. That seems typical for the ones I've seen listed near us.
I got a titan 52 gallon replacement tank and with installation and taxes it was almost $2k. It fits nicely where the OEM tank went. I do wish RAM had a 50 gallon option on the SB.

I have never ordereda truck.I usually buy used 2-3 years old. So this is my first new truck I have ever bought. When I played with the RAM.com site and "built a truck, the price was much higher than the sticker on the truck I bought with the same options. I never talked to the dealer about it.
