orange sludge in radiator

has anyone had over temp issues and found orange sludge in the bottom of the radiator?

For starters, are you the original owner? Sometimes adding the wrong type of coolant can cause what you describe. If previously owned (or if you added the wrong stuff) a flush would be in order.

yes, I'm the original owner yes, some HOAT was added but it was supposed to be flushed so that is most likely what happened.
