Online Towing Specs vs Reality

Hey y’all, does the tow capacity of the truck I have on-order seem way too high? Per RAM the generic rating is way lower. I know the ratings fluctuate a bit based on options, but as mine is pretty decked out with options I figured that I would end up closer to the theoretical value from RAM.
Dont get me wrong, I will take 16k over 11k all day. Just seems odd that the two values are so different

You have to look at the towing guide pdf, not website marketing images that could very well be wrong.

Is the truck actually built?

Is that your VIN?

Seems higher than the tow guide shows for a mega big horn. Unless the 22 ratings went up some, these are for 2021.



These are also base models so any add-on options will reduce payload.
