We just started having an oil leak on our 2020 Laramie 6.4 liter hemi. I took it to the dealer and they said the oil filter wasn’t tight. They replaced it and said it was fixed. Sure enough next morning oil on the driveway, has anyone else had this issue?

It could still be from the filter. Don’t rule it out yet. It’s easy to make a mess changing the oil. I have done it despite the truck having a little drain funnel built in. The oil finds its way into nooks and crannies and I’ve had drips on my driveway overnight after changing my oil even after spraying it clean with brake cleaner.

Thank you! We are going to take it back to the dealer tomorrow to have them check it again, I will keep what y0uve said in mind!

I had an oil leak on ram 2500 with 5.7L. It happened a few days after the oil change and it got super cold in Alberta so I guess oil filter wasn't on tight enough and because of temp and viscosity, pressure spiked and blew past the filter. Went back to the oil change place and they retightened the filter and cleaned it up a little, didn't have any issues since

Check here from passenger side front wheel well. Mine leaked when new just needed to snug the hex plug up.

It turned out to be the oil pressure gauge that was leaking. We had to take it back to the dealer and they finally figured it out.
