Fleetguard makes the engine-specific filters, or has them made by a 3rd party. (On-engine fuel filters, oil filters, CCV filter, etc.) These are cheapest to buy in Fleetguard dress (depending on dealer markup vs independent like Genos or Rock Auto.)
Mopar/FCA/Stellantis makes the chassis-specific filters, or has them made by a 3rd party. (Air filter, chassis mounted fuel filter on 2013-2024 trucks, etc.) These are cheapest to buy in Mopar dress (depending on dealer markup vs independent like Genos or Rock Auto.)
Each sells to the other under whatever agreement they have and repackages, which incurs an additional layer of markup.
Buy the cheaper one. It's the same filter as long as you avoid amazon/ebay fakes.
The chassis fuel filter on the 2013-2018 is a unique case, because it's made by Parker Racor for Mopar, but it appears they aren't allowed to sell them for less than the Mopar.
