Offset of 0 vs +45

Kicking around ideas.

Truck in question - 2025 or newer 3500 SRW Megacab

Tire stock LT 275 / 70 R 18 E or similar

Idea - run offset of closer to 0 instead of stock + 45

Expected absolute max weight 1000 lbs in cab, 1000 lbs in bed, 6 k trailer max setup, usually les.

What kind of challenges would I run into doing something like this ?

For instance this company makes rims with various offsets:


Not sure that I would buy that exact model rim but it is an example.

I run a +1 offset with 35s on a 3" level with no issues. Depending on the tire size, you may experience some rubbing if you don't level the front.
